The NBA schedule will be released Tuesday, and a tentative schedule that has been circulating around the league has the Miami Heat playing host to New Orleans at noon on Christmas Day, according to a league source.

The source called that matchup likely but stopped short of saying definite because the NBA reserves the right to change anything before the schedule is announced.

That game would be on ESPN, with the 2:30 and 5 p.m. games on ABC.

The Heat is 9-2 all-time in Christmas games, including 4-0 at home, and has won six in a row on Christmas overall, including a 101-91 win against Cleveland last season.
