Coral Gables’ Shaquery Wilson chooses Georgia

Standing in front of hats from West Virginia and Georgia, Shaquery Wilson decided to stay a little closer to home and attend Georgia.

“My heart was always with Georgia, I just wanted to shock the coaches,” Wilson said.

At Georgia, Wilson expects to play receiver. Wilson is rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN and ranked as the 45th-best receiver in the nation.

Defensive linemen Jarred McGahee will attend Monmouth. He is a cousin of former NFL running back and UM star Willis McGahee.

Linebacker Emilio Gibbs will attend FAMU and linebacker Jontavis Testa will attend Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Andrew Spence and Dhany Dye did not sign Wednesday.
