Miami Southridge’s Dicaprio Bootle headed to Nebraska; Freddie Pinder remains undecided on National Signing Day
Freddie Pinder did not sign on Wednesday morning at Miami Southridge Senior High School. Pinder, a 6-5 wide receiver, is ranked by the Miami Herald as the 16th-best prospect in Miami-Dade County for the class of 2016.
“He has it down to Marshall or Temple and could decide soon,” Spartans coach Billy Rolle said of Pinder.
Cornerback Dicaprio Bootle, a scholar athlete, will be attending the University of Nebraska.
“The people around me really helped push me and they set me up in ways that made the decision possible,” Bootle said.
Said Southridge athletic director Shawn Carney: “We are trying to bring Southridge’s historic football program back to where it should be and this is just the beginning.”
