Krop overcame a Hialeah Gardens offense that accumulated 202 yards on the ground to earn a 33-21 win at North Miami Stadium. Running back Lawrence Papillon turned the tide of the game with an 86-yard kickoff return shortly after Hialeah Gardens (2-5, 0-3) took a 14-0 lead. After that play, the Lightning took over.
Matthew Bethel and Randall St. Felix were lethal in the air combining for two touchdown scores that propelled Krop (4-3, 2-1) to a victory that snapped a two-game losing streak.
Lawrence Papillon: The sophomore running back was the offensive and special teams star for the Lightning. He led all rushers with 86 yards and scored two touchdowns. He also ran back an 86-yard kickoff.
Randall St. Felix: The junior receiver caught six passed for 95 yards and scored two touchdowns.
