Everglades OL Keenan Forbes picks Iowa State on National Signing Day
Everglades offensive lineman Keenan Forbes provided a solid presence up front for the Gators during his high school career.
Iowa State is hoping for the same kind of stability over the next few years.
Forbes signed his letter of intent to play for the Cyclones on Wednesday morning at the school’s media center. A 6-3, 310 pounder, Forbes had been committed to Iowa State since late January.
Previously a Tulane commit, Forbes had been offered by several FBS schools, including FIU, UCF and USF.
Forbes was one of three Everglades players who signed Wednesday. Quarterback Javari Alvin signed with Virginia Union and wide receiver/defensive back Casey Adams signed with Crown College in Minnesota.
