HML football coach Horane Allison steps down

Hialeah-Miami Lakes is looking for a new football coach.

During a brief phone conversation Thursday afternoon, coach Horane Allison confirmed to The Miami Herald that he resigned from his position earlier this week.

Allison did not elaborate on the details of his decision.

The Trojans went 4-6 this season and finished last in one of the state’s toughest districts - District 16-6A - which includes Miami Carol City, Miami Central, Miami Northwestern and Miami Norland. HML went 5-5 last season.
