Mirrors needed

The recent email leak at the Democratic National Committee has revealed corruption, misogynistic and racist undertones, anti-Semitic ploys and dishonesty. Clearly, neither side has clean hands, and if they refuse to admit they have a problem, what we will be left with in November is a real Hobson’s choice.

It is time for everyone — on both sides of the aisle — to conduct a thorough introspection. If, afterward, you still only blame the other side, you are living with your head in the sand.

I am reminded of an old saying: “Sometimes, the best instrument through which to examine others is a mirror.”
