Burger King announces newest weird fast-food item: Mac ‘n Cheetos
For those who feel like fast food doesn’t already have enough choices to clog your arteries, Burger King has a new product for you.
Mac ‘n Cheetos are deep fried sticks of macaroni and cheese coated with Cheetos-flavored breading.
Burger King said the product will sell for eight weeks or until supplies run out. They cost $2.49 for a five pack and are allegedly 310 calories.
Some unspecified locations have already added the item to their menu for a trial phase.
One Twitter user ranked the snack “not bad.”
Mac n Cheetos verdict: not bad, luckily not very Cheetos-y. More like breaded and fried mac and cheese. pic.twitter.com/6Pf1vjOtxR

Mac ‘n Cheetos join the list of bizarre fast food products that include KFC’s Double Down (bacon, two different kinds of melted cheese and sauce in between two chicken filets as buns), Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos (tacos with Doritos flavoring on the shells) and Pizza Hut’s Hot Dog Bites Pizza (pizza with mini hot dogs cooked into the crust).
