Report: Shark found in pool at South Florida condo
We’re going to need a bigger pool.
A presumably shocked Palm Beach County woman found a half-dead blacktip shark swimming in the pool at the Mariner’s Cay condominium in Hypoluxo last week, the Sun Sentinel reports.
The woman and her husband rescued the five-foot predator, which may have been placed in the pool by pranksters, and deposited it into the Intracoastal Waterway, according to the paper.
Head over to the Sun Sentinel for more.
UPDATE: According to a follow-up report, the Sun Sentinel says the shark likely died from its time in the pool’s chlorinated waters. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident.
