Body found in Miami Shores pool, and homicide detectives are investigating

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the death of a woman who was found floating unconscious in a pool behind a Miami Shores house Monday morning.
Miami Shores police went to the home in the 200 block of Northeast 101st Street around 9:15 a.m. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue paramedics removed her from the water and determined she was dead, said Detective Angel Rodriguez, a sheriff’s office spokesman.
The sheriff’s office’s Homicide Bureau has taken over the investigation. The agency has not released the woman’s name or age.
