Trolleys arrive in North Beach
The North Beach trolley is now in service.
The free service debuted Oct. 29 for commuters to get around the North Beach.
According to the city of Miami Beach’s website, the new system provides connection between Allison Park, Publix on 69th Street, North Shore Open Space Park, Stillwater Park, North Shore Branch Library, Crespi Park, North Shore Youth Center, Normandy Isle Park and Pool, Walgreens on Biarritz Drive and other destinations.
The trolley also connects to Miami-Dade Transit routes 120, S, H, L, 117, 115 and 79.
The new trolleys include free Wi-Fi Internet on board and the real-time tracking information on the city’s mobile application on smartphones.
