A roof fire in Wednesday’s pre-dawn hours closed part of a shopping center on West 49th Street in Hialeah.
While all appeared normal from Hialeah’s main east-west thoroughfare, behind the Burlington Coat Factory and The Dollar Tree at 590 W. 49th St., Hthe ialeah Fire Department dealt with a roof fire that Capt. Cesar Espinoza said started around 5:50 a.m. Espinoza said there were no injuries and the cause remains under investigation.

The Office Depot in the same strip, however, was open.
