Body found floating near Biscayne Boulevard

Police are working to find out what happened to a body found floating in a Miami waterway.

Miami police were called to Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 23rd Street on Wednesday morning after a passerby spotted the body. Police pronounced the person dead, and have not determined if foul play is suspected.

Authorities have not released the identity of the person.
