Police: Little Havana woman’s boyfriend shot ex-boyfriend in attempted break in

A man was hospitalized following a shooting in Little Havana Friday morning.

Miami Police told Miami Herald news partner CBS4 that the man allegedly attempted to break into his ex-girlfriend’s house, located on the 1000 block of southwest 2nd street, around 7 a.m.

Police said the woman’s current boyfriend shot the ex-boyfriend in the chest. The ex-boyfriend, who has not been identified, is in serious condition.
