What was that flash in the sky? A UFO? A meteor?

Many people looking up just after 6 a.m. Wednesday caught a glimpse of the beautiful but strange lights. They whipped out their phones and posted pictures and video to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Some knew. Many didn’t.

The Atlas V rocket launched from Cape Canaveral and gave the state show in the sky. The 21-story rocket is delivering a Navy satellite into orbit.
