Investigation underway after a body was found floating in Miami River early Wednesday

A dead man was found floating in the Miami River on Wednesday morning, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
At around 10:00 a.m., deputies say a call came in about a body near South River Drive and Northwest 28th Street. The investigation is ongoing.
No other information was released.
