Boat near Dinner Key burns. Firefighters douse the flames and stop it from sinking
A small boat went up in flames Thursday afternoon off the Dinner Key channel, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The call came in just after 4 p.m. Thursday.
Firefighters on Miami-Dade Fire Boat 73 were able to douse the flames and prevent the boat from sinking. The boat was then towed.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
