24 Cuban migrants come ashore in Key West
Twenty-four Cuban migrants, 23 men and one woman, landed on the shores of Key West at about 4 a.m. Monday, according to the Key West Police Department.
The group made the 90-mile journey on a tiny makeshift boat named Mariana, the department posted on its Facebook page.
Some of them were treated for exposure to diesel fuel but, other than being tired and thirsty, they were all healthy, according to police.
