Two injured in Fort Lauderdale boat explosion

Fire crews were trying to extinguish a boat fire following an explosion in the 1800 block of Bayview Drive in Fort Lauderdale early Saturday evening, according to a fire-rescue captain.

At least two people were injured; one of them appeared to be seriously hurt and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center's trauma center.
