Body found floating in Fort Lauderdale river

Police were investigating a body found in a Fort Lauderdale waterway Sunday evening.

Authorities discovered the body around 7:15 p.m. near 532 S.W. 10th Ave.

Homicide detectives and forensic investigators were sent to the scene. Officials are not yet releasing details on the circumstances surrounding the man’s death or his identity.
