Body found inside submerged car in Davie

A car with a body inside was discovered submerged in a canal Thursday morning.

According to investigators, the scene is at Southwest 128th Avenue and Griffin Road in Davie.

Divers were called to the scene to retrieve the body from inside the vehicle.

No other details about the crash were available, but investigators are expected to release more information Thursday.
