Fire at Hollywood assistant living facility sends 9 to hospital

Nine people, including two police officers, were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation Sunday morning after a fire in a laundry room at an assisted living facility in Hollywood.

The fire began around 7:45 a.m. at the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills, 1200 N. 35th Ave.
