A man who went missing last week was found dead Sunday in a retention pond in Miramar — near where he was last seen alive, according to police.

Marquis Brisson, 32, disappeared Thursday from the 11900 block of Southwest 32nd Street. At the time, Miramar police said he “may be suffering a medical episode.”

At around 9 a.m. Sunday, a woman called 911 after spotting what she thought was a body in a lake near 2700 SW 121st Ave., police spokeswoman Officer Yessenia Diaz told the Miami Herald. When paramedics arrived, they discovered the body.

On Monday, police identified the remains and said that no foul play is suspected.

“This appears to be an accidental drowning,” police said in a tweet.
