Boat crash at Fort Lauderdale bar injures four people
Four people were injured, two critically, late Saturday night when two boats collided in the water near a Fort Lauderdale bar and restaurant in the Intracoastal Waterway, officials said.
The crash happened just before midnight near Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill, at 3115 N.E. 32nd Ave., according to Timothy Heiser, Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue assistant chief. Investigators said the crash occurred when a 31-foot catamaran rode up over the back of a 23-foot center console boat that may have slowed down.
