When you look like Adriana Lima, surely you don’t have problems picking up the pieces after a breakup.
Don’t worry; she doesn’t.
Roughly eight months after announcing her separation from her husband, former NBA player Mark Jaric, the Victoria’s Secret model was seen out and about on Lincoln Road Wednesday doing some shopping with a new guy. It’s unknown who he is, but he’s handsome, built, has a lot of tattoos and may have a sweeth tooth. Judging by their bags, one stop was Dylan’s Candy Bar.
They were later seen having a cocktail at the new Miami Beach hotspot Bodega, as per Scene in the Tropics columnist Lesley Abravanel.
Never miss a local story.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
Seen posters for the 52nd annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival? The artist responsible for the bright, colorful image is French-born, Fort Lauderdale-based painter, Duaív. The work is called Voiliere, meaning sailboat. Duaív is kind of a big deal. He exhibits all over the world at venues like the Cannes Film Festival, has designed menus for haute restaurants and hobnobs with celebrities, as per his website. More info on the fest, which runs Feb. 14-16, visit www.cgaf.com.
A slice of the Sunshine State in Park City, Utah: Greater Miami CVB and Deleon Tequila celebrated Miami Beach’s 100th birthday during the Sundance fest last week by hosting a series of intimate dinners at the “It’s So Miami” lounge. Among the films celebrated was Knock Knock, a film starring Keanu Reeves and directed by Eli Roth (Saw). The horrormeister was seen cuddling up to his much younger wife Lorenza Izzo, who also stars in the film. When asked to cut Miami Beach’s birthday cake later on, Roth smiled and told his fellow diners, “It’s scary how comfortable I am with a knife.”
Shakira had her second baby — another son, Sasha — with Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique late Thursday. But it’s doubtful you’ll ever see the little guy around town. The Colombian pop star is still trying to sell her almost $13 million home in Miami Beach. She wants to unload the six-bedroom, nine-bath, two story mansion because she “considers Europe her home base,” reports TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.
