Dolphins QB’s wife Lauren Tannehill is pregnant
Lauren Tannehill, the wife of Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, is pregnant, according to a member of the couple’s entourage.
Lauren, who’s 27, is due in August, during the Fins’ training camp and preseason games.
“She looks beautiful, and obviously pregnant,” said the friend, who asked not to be identified. “She’s about 4 1/2 months along.”
Lauren is telling friends she doesn’t know the gender of the baby and has not announced a name.
The baby could explain why, as we reported last week, the couple rushed into the purchase of a larger home in Fort Lauderdale.
They were planning to build something from scratch on a double lot worth $1.75 million on Cordova Road, also in Fort Lauderdale.
But then, they bought a ready-to-move-in canal-front mansion for $4.3 million in the city’s Colee Hammock neighborhood earlier this month, a day after the mansion was listed.
With four bedrooms, the new place can definitely accommodate the pitter-patter of little feet over 5,400 square feet of space.
Until three weeks ago, the Tannehills lived in a two-bedroom townhouse at the Portside Yacht Club.
They were married in January 2012, shortly before he was drafted by the Dolphins.
Neither she nor Ryan replied to call and an email for comments.
