Audrina Patridge takes a ‘1st Look’ at Miami
LOVING LIFE
Audrina Patridge loves her gig hosting NBC’s travel show 1st Look, but be-bopping around the U.S. has taken its toll. “Oh, I’m tired,” she said poolside from The Raleigh Hotel Saturday night at a party to launch the social interaction app Klique. “Sometimes I wake up, and I’m like, ‘Where am I?’”
Not that you could tell from Patridge’s appearance. The 30-year-old looked gorgeous in a white hippie-esque long- sleeved romper accessorized with Roxhouse jewelry, her hair streaked blond, face fresh.
“Don’t get me wrong. I’m so happy. I can’t imagine a better job,” said the former Hills star, drinking a glass of white wine.
The MTV reality show about haute Southern California pals was a great jumping-off point for Patridge, who later landed a spot on Dancing with the Stars as well as Celebrity Ghost Stories.
“Someone once told me I had psychic qualities and wasn’t surprised that I had experienced something supernatural,” said Patridge of her 2012 experience on the MyLifetime show.
As for her quick turnaround trip in Miami, where she was filming a future 1st Look episode, the hostess had the chance to visit a few local spots: Ball & Chain, where she reportedly took salsa lessons; nightclub Set; and Bodega Taqueria.
“I’m not too much of a club person, but I loved Bodega’s vibe — it was casual, and the Mexican food was amazing,” said Patridge, who also ducked into Cleo, the Mediterranean eatery at The Redbury Hotel, where she posted a video on Instagram christening the place by smashing plates.
Patridge was also simply enjoying the blue-tinged Klique Raleigh party featuring liquid nitrogen cocktails. A few doors down from her cabana was the cast of Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff, Dash Dolls, a reality show following the staffers who work at the family-owned Dash boutiques. A crew from E! was camped out, filming a few of the ladies doing their thing.
