Adrienne Bosh is helping to do the impossible: making parking your car an enjoyable experience.
Last week, the wife of Miami Heat star Chris Bosh — who recently announced he is ready to get back on the court — joined VIPs at the Sawgrass Mills to unveil #TheHauteSpot, a highly stylish parking space outside The Colonnade Outlets decked out by Jonathan Stein (aka “Lord of the Bling”). The local artist used 100,000 Swarovski crystals to create a mural that was inspired by a collection of sunrise photographs to pay tribute to the city of Sunrise.
Bosh, who gave birth to twin boys in March, made a grand entrance as she pulled into the garage— which includes an elevated valet area, electric charging stations and air conditioned stairwells — in a Fiat 124 Spider provided by her good friends over at the Rick Case Automotive Group.
How is Sparkle & Shine doing? What are some your favorite things in the store right now?
Never miss a local story.
The store is doing amazing! I've hand-picked all of the merchandise so I hate to play favorites. Since I’ve personally designed all of my Sparkle and Shine Darling branded items, they have a special place in my heart. I diligently worked for months to curate my line of fun and fabulous items. These include my Bluetooth speakers, mom planners and other stationery and gift items.
Congrats on the twins! You truly are the definition of a working mom. How are you juggling it all?
Thank you! How am I juggling it all? I ask myself the same thing! It’s not easy and takes some sacrifice but my sleep is usually the first thing I cut back on. I tend to work around the clock especially in the wee hours of the night. I always have my emails and work related text messages streamed to my phone. I also like to tackle anything I can ASAP. I try to handle all my work related business before noon to give my team the entire day to tackle business, and my family my undivided attention throughout the day. I also get tons of support from my family and friends which is especially helpful for any momtrepreneur.
What kind of trends are you seeing for spring/summer?
Before I had five kids, a business, and an on-the-go husband, I would have been able to answer this question immediately. Now as my priorities have shifted, I live by my own fashion trends! These include easy, throw-on pieces as my day to day attire. I always have my nude, and black pumps that are my go-to shoe choice. I believe that a statement bag can make a look. And, my favorite piece of jewelry are my wedding bands.
Where do you like to go shopping around Miami?
I do most of it online. With my many sacrifices comes the sacrifice of being able to shop in a brick and mortar store. When I do find time to go shopping, I usually hit up the Design District or The Webster in Miami Beach, and I always grab great finds at Sawgrass Mills. This summer I have been loving antique and vintage finds. I love exploring cities I've traveled to and finding one a kind pieces.
