The annual Mascot Games, presented by Wawa and benefiting New Hope for Kids, is 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 23 and 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at the Amway Center in Orlando.

The Mascot Games features approximately 30 mascots from college and pro sports teams across North America, competing in a variety of games. The family-friendly event is a fun time for everyone, kids and adults.

More than 18,000 fans enjoy thrilling and fun competitions, as mascots from MLB, MLS, NBA, NCAA, NFL, NHL, and ECHL battle through gladiator themed games to see who are the true champions of the mascot world.

This year’s line-up includes Sebastian the Ibis (NCAA University of Miami), Stanley C. Panther (NHL Florida Panthers), Fin the Whale (NHL Vancouver Canucks), Albert E. Gator and Alberta (NCAA University of Florida), Captain Fear (NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Carlton (NHL Toronto Maple Leafs), Champ (NBA Dallas Mavericks), Chomps (NFL Cleveland Browns), Coyote (NBA San Antonio Spurs), Franklin the Dog (NBA Philadelphia 76ers), Hugo (NBA Charlotte Hornets), Jaxson De Ville (NFL Jacksonville Jaguars), Kingston (MLS Orlando City Soccer), Knightro (NCAA University of Central Florida), Lil Red (NCAA University of Nebraska), Louie (NHL St. Louis Blues), NJ Devil (NHL New Jersey Devils), Rowdy (NFL Dallas Cowboys), Shades (ECHL Orlando Solar Bears), Sir CC (NBA Cleveland Cavaliers), ThunderBug (NHL Tampa Bay Lightning), Tommy Hawk (NHL Chicago Blackhawks), and mascot host Stuff the Magic Dragon (NBA Orlando Magic).

Last year, Florida Hospital for Children Blue Team won Day One. They were Sebastian the Ibis (NCAA University of Miami); Champ (NBA Dallas Mavericks); Lil Red (NCAA University of Nebraska); Shades (ECHL Orlando Solar Bears); ThunderBug (NHL Tampa Bay Lightning); and Team Captain Fin (NHL Vancouver Canucks).

Video: Sebastian the Ibis was a repeat champion, also helping a winning team in 2015.

Stanley C. Panther of the NHL Florida Panthers once again did a good job last year, but his team -- The Fields Auto Group Red Team, captained by NJ Devil of the NHL New Jersey Devils -- did not win the team trophy. In 2015, Stanley captained the Truly Nolen Yellow Team to a runner-up finish each day. Hopefully, the third time is the charm for this cool cat as Stanley will look to bring home that elusive trophy this year.

Truly Nolen Yellow Team won Day Two last year. They were Franklin (NBA Philadelphia 76ers); Howler (NHL Arizona Coyotes); Knightro (NCAA University of Central Florida); Louie (NHL St. Louis Blues); Rowdy (NFL Dallas Cowboys); and Team Captain - Captain Fear (NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers).

Canada will be well represented again at the Mascot Games with Carlton of the NHL Toronto Maple Leafs and Fin the Whale of the NHL Vancouver Canucks. Fin, who traveled the farthest to Orlando, competes in his 14th Mascot Games.

Cleveland Rocks, Cleveland Rocks. The mascots of the Browns and Cavs will be at the Games, and plenty of Florida mascots, too, participating for the home state/team. The cool Truly Nolen mouse limo, driven by Jack Martin, will also appear.
