The makers of NBA2K, the popular video game series the players themselves obsess over, announced a new addition to its latest installment this year: all-time teams for all 30 franchises.
Thursday night, those rosters were revealed including the Miami Heat’s, which naturally included the Big Three (LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh) and Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning as the starters.
The rest of the 15-man roster featured plenty of noteworthy selections including current Heat team members Hassan Whiteside, the league’s leading rebounder last season and shot blocker the year before, and franchise all-time leading rebounder and captain Udonis Haslem.

Sports Illustrated ranked the top five All-Time teams in this order: 1. Lakers, 2. Celtics, 3. Bulls, 4. Warriors, 5. Spurs.
The Heat, three-time NBA champions, surely can’t be far behind that group.
The game will be released on Sept. 16. There are a few notable omissions in the game (mainly the result of rights issues) including legends like Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller and Moses Malone. But the vast majority of the game’s all-time greats appear in the game.
The Heat is one of 17 NBA franchise’s with its own NBA2K team. The league begins play next year.
