The event is scheduled Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Clevelander inside Marlins Park. It is free and open to all. However, due to limited venue capacity, those wishing to attend must RSVP via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and state why they wish to attend and what Pope meant to them in a career that spanned from 1967 through 2003. Applications should be made soon. Only those who are selected will be e-mailed back and included on an entry list.
The event is the brainchild of two of Edwin’s biggest fans, Dan LeBatard of 790 The Ticket and ESPN Radio, and the Herald’s Greg Cote.
