1. DOLPHINS

Fins seek fourth win in row: Cubs win World Series, Trump wins White House, Dolphins win three in a row. I guess it’s true about anything being possible! But can Fins, Sunday in San Diego, make it four in a row for first time since 2008?

2. HEAT

D-Wade twice a winner in return to Miami: Dwyane Wade’s Chicago Bulls beat the Heat on Thursday night in his ballyhooed return, and Wade also won big with appreciative, loving reaction from Miami fans.

3. HURRICANES

UM tries to punch bowl ticket at Virginia: Favored Canes were in Charlottesville on Saturday seeking sixth win for bowl eligibility. Alas, four earlier losses assure we’re talking “medium bowl” eligibility.

4. COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Road to March Madness is open: The college basketball season began Friday for the Miami Hurricanes and most teams. Now let’s please fast-forward 119 days to Selection Sunday and get to the good stuff!

5. NASCAR

Homestead ready for championship weekend: Sunday in Phoenix decides who will join Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards in final four for next week’s Sprint Cup title run in Homestead. November Madness?
