The Miami Dolphins acknowledged the tragic passing of Jose Fernandez with a moment of silence before kickoff of their home opener against the Cleveland Browns Sunday afternoon at Hard Rock Stadium.
Fernandez, the Marlins ace, was one of three killed in a boating accident at Government Cut in Miami Beach early Sunday morning.
The Marlins canceled their game against the Braves Sunday; the Dolphins’ game against the Browns went on as planned.
