Bister becomes first individual winner for Hebrew Academy

Miami Hebrew Academy’s wait for its first cross-country winner is over. Junior standout Danny Bister celebrated the Warriors’ first individual victory when he clocked 20 minutes 59 seconds to best seven other schools at Markham Park on Tuesday. Bister’s historic win paced Hebrew Academy (84) to a third place finish behind Somerset (38) and Hillel (81).

Posnack’s Cali Chussid won the girls’ individual title in 27:05.
