Southridge rolls Krop to win behind balanced attack

The Southridge Spartans offense ran on all cylinders to defeat the Krop Lightning (0-6, 0-2 District 13-8A) on Friday night at Southridge.

The Spartans (2-4, 1-1) used a balanced attack by compiling three touchdowns in the air and three on the ground.

Lashone Garnett led all rushers with 105 yards and two rushing scores.

Receiver Freddie Pinder took two passes to the end zone for a combined 85 yards. Quarterback Drakar Jerry threw two touchdown passes and 130 passing yards.

Lightning running back Colorest Vandiver rushed for 47 yards.
