Behind five touchdowns from running back Lazaro Cespedes, Braddock earned its first win of the season against an overmatched Coral Park team Thursday at Tropical Park.
Cespedes’ five scores went from 51, 11, 45, 60 and 10 yards. He gained 182 yards on only six carries.
“It felt great. Our O-line was great today,” Cespedes said. “I just did what the coaches told me.”
In the blowout homecoming victory, Braddock (1-5, 0-2 District 15-8A) was able to get legally blind running back Davonte Pollard to run in a two-point conversion on the final play.
