Kahlil Render threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns to lead South Dade to its first district victory of the season at Harris Field over Miami Palmetto 43-0.
Render’s first touchdown pass went to CJ Worton, whose catch and run went for a 62-yard scoring strike for the Buccaneers.
On the ensuing kickoff, the Panthers fumbled and Tyre Brady recovered for the Bucs.
Render then completed a screen pass to Johnnie Hankins for the touchdown to make it 13-0.

“It’s a confidence builder, especially in the district. We wanted to make a statement and establish ourselves offensively,” South Dade coach Nate Hudson said.
Render would go on to hit Brady and Nathaniel Terry for 10- and 42-yard touchdowns, respectively.
The Buccaneers defense was in the backfield all night, sacking Panthers quarterback Matt Coll four times in the first half and forcing four interceptions, including two late that were returned for touchdowns.
