Deon McIntosh runs for three TDs to lead Cardinal Gibbons past Coral Springs

Deon McIntosh ran for 130 yards on 18 carries, including three first-half touchdowns, as Cardinal Gibbons prepares for its first-round playoff game at Immokalee next week.

McIntosh scored on runs of 10, 6 and 41 yards as Gibbons (8-2) built a 21-0 halftime lead against the Colts, who closed their season at 3-7.

Sophomore Tyler Monaco, filling in for injured quarterback Peyton Bendon (collarbone), was 5 for 12 for 89 yards in his first start.

Gibbons increased its lead to 28-0 on a 17-yard touchdown run by reserve running back Milan Lemon midway in the fourth quarter.
