Flanagan (8-1) dominated West Broward (1-7) at home for a 40-21 win on the Falcons’ home field Friday night.
The Falcons were unstoppable in the first half, scoring on six consecutive possessions and racking up nearly 200 passing yards. Quarterback Ryan Stanley threw for three touchdowns and 115 yards on only five completions in the first half.
The Bobcats were unable to move the ball against the Falcons’ starting defense. West Broward finished the first half with minus-12 yards and zero first downs.
“We played pretty good,” Flanagan coach Devin Bush said with a smirk. “We have another game to finish the season 9-1 for the first time in school history, so we’re pretty proud of that.”
