Shawn Burgess-Becker caught a two-point conversion after Cavarri Morss scored on a 6-yard run in overtime as Monarch rallied past Douglas 28-27 in a huge District 8A-11 game.

After leading 14-0 at halftime, Douglas (2-2, 0-2) saw its lead slip away in the second half before tying the game on a 41-yard field goal from Tate Lehito to send the game into overtime.

The Eagles scored first in overtime as quarterback Brett Israel scored form 11 yards out to take the lead. Monarch (5-0, 2-0) scored on its second attempt to set up what most thought would be double overtime.
