2016 Broward Hall of Fame class announced

Former Dillard basketball star Keyon Dooling highlights the Broward County Sports Hall of Fame's newest class.

Dooling, who spent 13 seasons in the NBA with the Magic, Heat and Clippers among others, will be part of the group honored Oct. 25 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Other honorees include Cardinal Gibbons' wrestling coach Frank Pettineo, sports journalist Larry Blustein, Douglas girls' soccer coach Laura Rountree, International Game Fish Association Hall of Famer Michael Leech and former Blanch Ely football stars Henri and Zach Crockett.

Damian Huttenhoff, the former BCAA director who died earlier this summer, will also be inducted.
