During the inaugural SmackDown Live show on Tuesday, July 19 on the USA Network, the WWE Draft determined which WWE Superstars would compete on Monday Night Raw and which would compete on SmackDown Live.
In the first round of draft picks, Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley selected Seth Rollins, WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte and NXT’s Finn Bálor.
SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan chose WWE Champion Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles.
During the second round, WWE Superstar John Cena was selected for SmackDown Live, where he will return to his roots.

Both Raw and SmackDown Live will now feature distinct casts, unique storylines and dedicated writing teams.
Raw, a three-hour program, is 8 p.m. ET Mondays live on the USA Network.
SmackDown Live, a two-hour show, is 8 p.m. ET Tuesdays live on the USA Network.
