“I am not a stranger to Miami and Fort Lauderdale,” he said on The Roman Show. “It was an original ECW town, and we always had a good time.”
He said Florida set a precedent for ECW.
“Florida was the first time in ECW where we took an airplane to get there,” he said. “It was our really first ‘Hey, we are starting to make it cause other towns want us.’ The War Memorial was a great place to be in.”

“I've been friends with Pablo when he was in the original ECW, and I was trying to help him out,” he said. “After ECW, he left and I didn't talk to him...He reached out to me and said we have a good locker room and good crowd, and he said, ‘I'd like to have you down.’ I said, ‘Sure.’ I am going to work with Vordell who is an amazing talent.”
