Beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, the University of Miami will open its first five bowl practices to the public.
The Hurricanes’ postseason destination will likely either be the Chick-fil-A Bowl at 8 p.m. on Dec.31 in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome or the Russell Athletic Bowl at 6:45 p.m. on Dec.28 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
The Russell Athletic Bowl announced late Thursday that Louisville (11-1, 7-1 American Athletic Conference) accepted an invitation to play a yet-to-be-named Atlantic Coast Conference opponent.
Miami’s destination will be announced Sunday night after the BCS bowl selections have been announced at about 8:30 p.m.

The Hurricanes (9-3, 5-3 ACC) will practice at Cobb Stadium, adjacent to the Greentree practice fields on San Amaro Drive in Coral Gables.
Saturday’s practice is from 1 to 2:45 p.m., and Sunday’s practice is from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Next weekend’s open practice schedule: Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 14, from 1 to 2:45 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 2:45 p.m.
Parking for this weekend and next Saturday and Sunday will be available in any of the green, gray and yellow lots near the Hecht Athletic Center and Cobb Stadium.
Parking for next Friday’s practice will be available in the Ponce Garage next to Mark Light Field.
Fans attending the practices must enter Cobb Stadium through the entrance along San Amaro.
