Florida State fans packed the Donald L. Tucker Center on Friday for the program’s 63rd annual kickoff luncheon.
Interim president Garnett Stokes, athletics director Stan Wilcox and coach Jimbo Fisher each gave remarks spoke and each member of the top-ranked Seminoles football team was introduced to the crowd of about 2,000.
Quarterback Jameis Winston, of course, received some of the loudest applause from the nearly 2,000 fans. The reigning Heisman winner did a little dance move then struck a pose as he walked across the stage.
Fisher rallied the faithful while also reminding them of the importance of booster contributions.

• Florida State will hold a closed practice on Saturday and then take Sunday off. The Seminoles will begin their normal game-week preparation on Monday.
