Drawing inspiration from the 2004 hit movie “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” starring Vince Vaughn, Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller, ESPNU became ESPN8: “The Ocho” Tuesday at midnight.

For one day only, the network formed a lineup of unconventional sporting events to televise ranging from Disc Golf to Ultimate Trampoline Dodgeball and Firefighters World Challenge playing off the mantra highlighted in the movie: “Bringing you the Finest in Seldom Seen Sports.”

9 a.m. - World Darts Championship

11:30 a.m. - The Best of the 2016 World Arm Wrestling championship

12:30 p.m. - 2017 Championship of Bags (cornhole tournament)

2:30 p.m. - The Evolution 2017 World Championship - Street Fighter (video games)

5 p.m. - Moxie Games (event which combines a variety of sports into one, such as dodgeball and juggling, martial arts and volleyball, and table tennis and soccer)

7 p.m. - U.S. Open Ultimate Championship (frisbee football)
