So long, Dwyane Wade

It must be true that Miami is the worst city to live in, if even an idolized superstar making north of $20 million a year is leaving. His best buddy left two years ago for Cleveland and now Dwyane Wade is going cold to Chi-Raq.

Maybe it was the sludge from Lake O or the tolls on the expressways, the endless gridlock on the roads or the price of valet parking on South Beach, but if we keep losing our superstars then we’ll only have Marco Rubio to look up to.

Well, anyway, thanks for the memories DW3 and the championships and the energy and excitement you brought to our area.

You made us proud, gave us hope and most of all, made us relevant for the right reason.

Mike Melnick,

North Miami Beach
