The rise of ideologies against the perceived elites and the establishment not only has occurred in our country with the Republican voters favoring Donald Trump. We also saw evidence in the United Kingdom, which elected to leave the European Union.
Both of these outcomes were believed to be unlikely by the establishment, showing how out of touch with voters they truly were. Even if these two occurrences did not rise from the same frustrations, they share a similar message: Change is inevitable, and adapting to change is central to survival. What the world will look like thereafter is much less certain.
