U.S. military troops are deployed in more than 150 countries around the world, with nearly 150,000 active-duty personnel serving outside the United States and its territories. Some are fighting and losing their lives.
What business do we have interfering with and trying to solve problems of other countries? Of those military personnel in Europe, most are located at installations activated during the Cold War, by which the U.S. government sought to challenge the Soviet Union in the aftermath of World War II. When you add the cost of contact employees, no wonder our national debt is soaring.
Somebody please tell me why we persist in interfering with other people’s choices. I say, let’s bring all our troops home.
