FPL had record profits in 2015. Yet, management has stated that the clean-up of the cooling canals at Turkey Point will be paid for by its customers.
Do we, as Florida residents, have “sucker” written on our foreheads? How can FPL’s Mike Sole say this without any hint of irony? FPL has caused extensive damage to the environment and now, when cornered for a solution, its answer is just brilliant. Pass on the costs to the customers, plain and simple.
Where is the objection from Florida Public Service Commission? Or is its role to second whatever FPL does or wants?
